Meghan Markle faces potential legal troubles and the looming possibility of a jail term after her attempts to sell palace items on eBay were thwarted by King Charles. Allegations of misconduct have arisen, with Meghan being accused of trespassing at the palace and selling stolen goods on the popular online marketplace.
In a recent development, an anonymous source, self-proclaimed as a “Palace Thief,” has made astonishing claims against Meghan Markle. According to this source, Meghan was allegedly involved in two separate incidents of selling stolen goods from the palace during her visits as a guest of The Prince and Princess of Wales.
The first alleged incident occurred when Meghan allegedly sneaked into Princess Charlotte’s nursery and took photographs. Suspicion arose when palace staff noticed a connection between this break-in and the theft of various items from the palace. Moreover, allegations of bullying of staff have surfaced in connection with these events.
Meghan’s actions became even more daring when she was reportedly caught in the act by a vigilant palace employee while inside Prince Charlotte’s room. Interestingly, Meghan was also accused of taking photos of the nursery while Princess Charlotte was asleep. When The Duchess Catherine of Cambridge raised concerns with Prince William and Prince Harry, Meghan defended her actions, insisting that she had done nothing wrong.
It is crucial to note that these events unfolded at a time when initial allegations of theft, bullying, and internal leaks within the palace were already under investigation. Subsequently, secret investigations were initiated due to the disappearance of numerous objects from the palace, some of which had been sold on eBay and Etsy.
While the person responsible within the palace has been apprehended, Meghan’s involvement in tracking and taking possession of previously sold items seems to have been overlooked. Fast forward to the recent verdict of a palace employee named Ada, who worked as a kitchen assistant in Buckingham Palace. Ada was sentenced to eight months in prison for committing three counts of theft between November 2019 and August 2020. Police recovered a significant amount of stolen items from his work area, with an estimated total value of about $136,000. Some of these stolen items had been sold on eBay for a fraction of their actual value.
Among the stolen items were prestigious medals and a photo album containing images from the Queen’s State banquet during President Trump’s visit to Britain in June 2019. Ada claimed that he resorted to theft due to financial difficulties, even taking a limited edition pocket watch and a Samsung mobile phone made specifically for Prince Andrew’s second son.
In the midst of these legal developments, Meghan Markle’s public image appears to be on a downward trend. Her and Prince Harry’s popularity, which had reached its peak with successful Netflix ventures and bestselling books, has now taken a hit. Some have suggested that Meghan may need to distance herself from Harry’s victim narrative to regain public favor.
The changing perception of the Sussexes from celebrated figures to a controversial couple raises questions about their chosen path and the need for Megan to redefine her image in the public eye. The numbers seem to paint a striking picture of this shift in public sentiment.
