In life, before you can take down someone who has a solid reputation, especially when you provide zero evidence, you must have an impeccable reputation yourself; something Meghan never understood when she came for Catherine. In fact, both women are antithetical: One always had a horrible reputation that continues to follow her everywhere, despite her vain attempts to mask it behind contrive PR.
The other has a great reputation that has remained consistent and followed her throughout her life.
Catherine once said about her upbringing: “My parents taught me about kindness, respect, and honesty. I realize how central these values have been in my life. William and I want to teach our children, just how important these values are, as they grow up.”
Indeed, Mike and Carole Middleton taught their daughter the key to success in life: An honest and generous Heart.
Everyone who ever met or knows Catherine always has the same feedback about her: She is a decent human being and William is lucky to have her.

In 2010, during an interview, her Classmate from Malborough Boarding School, Gemma W. said: “That was the amazing thing about Catherine. Despite her incredible looks, she was such a genuinely nice person that all the girls liked her as much as the boys. In fact, at the end of last term there, she was voted ‘person most likely to be loved by everybody’.”
At university, her dormmate at Salvatore Hall, Laura Warshauer echoed those words: “Kate was voted “prettiest girl” in the dorm. There was applause and she just graciously walked up and accepted this award. His feet are on the ground, and this sense of lightness is reflected in his behavior. The thing with her is that she is stunning but she doesn’t act in any way like, ‘Oh, I’m this gorgeous person!’ No, Kate was just a genuine person. And I don’t feel like she’ll ever change.”
Indeed she has not changed. It is that aura of kindness and goodness in her that also attracted Prince William to her.
In his engagement interview, he described his first impression of her when they met at the age of 19: “When I met Catherine, I realized that there was something very special about her. I knew there was something I wanted to explore.
He also explored and gained a wonderful soulmate for life.

THergood reputation has remained consistent throughout the years. When their engagement was announced here are some of the reactions:
- Martin Fidler, the Middletons’ butcher for over 30 years who was invited to the Royal wedding said: “We were over the moon when we learn of Prince William’s engagement to Catherine because we know the family well. The Middletons are a lovely, hard-working family. I think that the Royal Family is lucky to have her.”
- Catherine’s Malborough school classmate, Gemma W. chimed in: “Although I find it difficult to believe that the girl I once knew won the heart of a Prince, I honestly believe William couldn’t have chosen a better bride. Catherine is as lovely as she is beautiful. Quite frankly, the Royal family are lucky to have her.”
- Mrs Shingadia, the local Indian convenience store owner gushed: “We are over the moon for them; Kate and William regularly pop into the shop when they stay at the Middleton’s. We’ve got to know Kate. She is caring. She is like a normal human being, not a celebrity, and she is always a good customer.”
- Claudia Bradby, Tom Bradby’s wife who collaborated with Catherine on a series of jewelry pieces when she still worked at Jigsaw said: “Catherine is a diamond: she is kind, loyal, decent, and very beautiful. The Royal Family is exceptionally lucky to have her.”
Indeed William himself summed it up saying: “I know that I am very fortunate, I have the support of my family and friends. I do a job I enjoy, and I have Catherine.”
